Job DescriptionPayment & Audit Associate IIExciting Opportunity at MSK: Join our team as an integral member of the Hospital Billing Department, you will perform a variety of hospital support functions. This includes solving account discrepancies, discerning trends, and determining the appropriate course of action.

Role Overview:

• Investigate and resolve any account discrepancies as needed in accordance with departmental adjustments policies and procedures.
• Resolves credit balances within established timeframes.
• Reviews and responds/resolves refund request letters from payers.
• Performs charge correction requests as per departmental guidelines
• Initiates communication with the insurance carrier to ensure the accurate allocation of funds, retrieves Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), and makes inquiries as required to obtain all necessary information for posting.
• Take on special projects as assigned to support the organization's needs and objectives.

Key Qualifications:

• Third party insurance experience preferred
• Ability to perform with a high standard of accuracy
• Ability to work independently and capable of making decisions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• EPIC exp is a plus
• Revenue cycle experience is plus

Core Skills:

• Have the ability to organize, analyze, and effectively resolve accounts within established timeframes
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management and punctuality
• Flexible to work independently or in a collaborative environment

Additional Information:Pay Range $23.03-$34.67Hours:9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Hybrid role with flexibility to report onsite as needed for meetings #h ybrid #ZIPHP #ind
